Description

This week, Bishop Rodgers teaches from Romans 12:6 on "Speaking God" (gift of prophecy). Every believer has gifts but we must not confuse the gift with the office. There are seven grace gifts: serving, teaching, encouraging, giving, leadership, showing mercy and prophecy. Prophesying is "communicating God's message to strengthen, encourage, and comfort. The prophet explains the Word of God both: the living Word and the written Word. The prophet is not always predicting the future, but often effectively communicating God's message. The prophet is the "declarer of God's will and purpose." The prophet must believe what he/she is saying and must believe in the One who sent them. If you speak what you don't believe, it is lying. The Word of God should bring freedom, not bondage. We pray as you listen to this powerful message, you will gain a deeper understanding on the grace gifts and how you can properly utilize the gift of prophecy. Have a wonderful and blessed week.
