This week, Bishop Rodgers teaches from Mark 1:14-15 on the "King Preached the Kingdom." Jesus is the supreme pattern of gospel declaration. The focus of Jesus' mission was He declare and manifest the Kingdom of God. The visible manifestation of the comprehensive rule of God over every area of life. Jesus' Word was perfect, His character was the kind of person He was, without parallel, and His compassion came from a heart absolutely convinced of man's need. The Kingdom of God respected the triumph of God's plan of salvation over human sin and demonic opposition. The summary of Jesus' message was: (1) Good news (gospel); (2) Repentance; and (3) Believe God. Repentance alone is not enough to save us. We must put our faith in Jesus Christ and believe His promise of salvation. We pray as you listen to this message, you will gain a deeper understanding of the "Kingdom of God."
