Today, Bishop Rodgers teaches from Matthew 4:23-25 on Jesus' hallmark of ministry. Matthew tells us the (3) aspects of Jesus's ministry: (1) teaching; (2) preaching; and (3) healing every disease and sickness. There are two types of messages exposition and exhortation. The Bible teaches us from Matthew 4:24 three types of healing: spiritual, mental and physical. These types of healing symbolizes the ultimate power of Christ over the whole man and over the physical universe. The point is Jesus Christ has power over the whole physical universe and all spriritual, mental and physical problems. The work of the Lord was not limited to preaching. Jesus knew the great needs of men are threefold: to hear, to be taught and to be healed. The same Jesus who healed people then can still heal people today. May this message bless and encourage you.
