This week, Pastor Cohen Rodgers teaches from Matthew 16:13-19 on "The Reserve Church". Many people are turned off of church for a number of reasons. Regardless of the reasons, we as believers must be the church and cause others to "reverse" the way they review church. We must be the solutions to win the lost back to Christ. Many believe the church is a building but really the church is us - the "organism". We, the believers, must be authentic, value imperfection, and pray for revelation. When we realize how we were when we first came to Christ, then we can truly witness to others and share our testimony. Christ did not call us to come to a building and just sit. He didn't call us to be judgemental, mean, or unforgiving to those who are just coming into the faith. We all have a part to play in growing the body of Christ. This means being a living testimony to those who say "church sucks" and demonstrating love. When we "reverse church", in our circle of influence, then we are fulfilling the "Great Commission". We pray as you listen to this powerful message, you will examine your own personal attitude and actions in and about church, and then repent. We pray God will give you a revelation of where He wants to take you spiritually and naturally. Be the solution and cause others to "reverse church".
