Miriam Latif, the passionate and rebellious visionary behind the Root Network and Understory, shares her stories and wisdom with us today. Miriam resides on Bunurung and Wurundjuri land in Melbourne and is a herbal practioner, mentor and mother.
In this interview, Miriam firstly shares her journey of her herbal education journey, getting her herbal qualification before doing a 3 year apprenticeship with Jimi Wollumbin.
She then shares about The Root Network, which is an online underground practitioner collective for qualified herbalists, naturopaths and nutritionists, that has been created to empower and unite the community while giving a space to critique the modern wellness industry and explore creative solutions to change the current wellness paradigm.
Miriam shares about this wonderful adaptive and evolving space and her dedication to the collective growth within the community.
