We live in a world of ongoing conflict and unrest. All around us are signs of the reality that so many live in a state of fear—or worse, hopelessness. Many centuries ago, John, the author of Revelation, which reminds us today that God is in control and that He will take care of all who follow Him. We can have confidence as we face life's challenges, knowing that Jesus' victory is our own. This future hope is meant to influence how we ought to live in the present.
