Edited, scored, starring, and directed by Shane Carruth, this time travel film was one of the cheapest and most truly independent films to ever receive a theatrical distribution. It's complex plot, scientific accuracy, and refusal to overexplain it's more indicate moments helped it take home the Grand Jury Prize at Sundance.
