An industrialist has been murdered on the operating table in hopes of manipulating the stocks of his companies. The Blue Beetle uses Formula X-4 to melt the lock on a suspicious safe. The Blue Beetle is captured by the arch-fiend Cochran, who plans to maim him for life!
