The way you think impacts the quality of your life. It is often said that thoughts create reality, but how exactly? What is the science behind it, and what protocols can we use to build a better and more resilient mindset.
Your brain is similar to a computer. You can programme it. Without being aware, you are reinforcing or weakening its wiring every day. Many factors influence your brain's wiring, of which many can be controlled and even improved. In this episode, I describe the function of RAS or reticular activating system and its role in forming your reality.
RAS mediates between your subconscious and conscious mind. RAS can be imagined as a gatekeeper or a goalkeeper that ensures your inner and outer reality are congruent. However, RAS is not responsible for QUALITY CONTROL of your output. For example, it does not know if your limiting beliefs are not doing you any good. Any command sent to this amazing system is sure to be delivered flawlessly.
Give it great ideas = Receive great outcomes.
Give it limiting ideas = Receive small and mediocre outcomes.
