Eddie, a Texas native with 27 years in law enforcement, turned his experience into a powerful mission for change. Rising through the ranks to Chief Deputy and Chief of Police, he launched the groundbreaking No Colors No Labels Initiative in a racially divided city to promote safety and unity, breaking down barriers and reshaping community trust in law enforcement. Recognized in 2017 as the NAACP's Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Humanitarian of the Year, Eddie is a passionate advocate for diversity and inclusion in policing. Now serving as a strategic consultant, he is also working on his Ph.D. while running America's Best Strategic Security Group and Leading Through Adversity, championing leadership development, crisis communication, and 21st Century Policing across the country.
