Timothy Tweet is the founder of Proper Pilots, a mobile-native, zero-cost flight training platform designed to streamline aviation education for instructors, students, and schools. A lifelong problem-solver with a passion for aviation, Timothy built Proper Pilots after years of firsthand experience in every corner of the flight training world.
His career spans the military, public service, media, and entrepreneurship. He served in the U.S. Air Force as a broadcast journalist, delivering news and stories across global networks. After the military, he worked in law enforcement, then transitioned into aviation—becoming a commercial pilot, certified flight instructor, and eventually flight school owner.
A skilled communicator, Timothy has also hosted his own podcast and performed stand-up comedy, bringing energy, insight, and humor to audiences across a variety of platforms.
Timothy’s personal story is one of resilience and reinvention. At 16, he became a father, and he has since built every chapter of his life through grit, creativity, and a drive to serve others—whether in the cockpit, the classroom, or the startup world.
