I walked into my first mindfulness class needing peace for my racing mind. As a change management professional rooted in evidence and science, I felt like there might be a bit of hocus-pocus about this whole thing. But I needed to find a solution to settle my scattered brain. Despite my early misgivings, the experience proved profoundly life changing.
At the time I did not yet know that I was an ADHD-er, but very soon I felt a deep sense of calm. This process taught me the power of grounding the mind in the body and attending to my own needs.
Now, as a mindfulness teacher, I guide others toward this transformative approach, offering practical techniques to help them focus and find inner trust.
I am a BAMBA-registered mindfulness teacher trained by the Mindfulness Association. I am also a Cognitive Behavioural (CBT) Therapist with years of experience working with ADHD-ers to find trust in themselves and strategies for their emotional obstacles.
