Description

Thinking Out Loud is a place to digest audibly the things we tend to think through silently. We'll look at a variety of complex issues from a variety of points of view, not necessarily to get to "right answers" but to build empathy and perspective.
Today I am joined by Alex DeMarco. Alex studied at Cairn University and Princeton Theological Seminary, served as a youth pastor in Chicago, and currently works as an editor for Brazos Press. He joined the show to discuss Christian ethics. We explore the need for a more robust understanding of morality for Jesus followers and the role scripture plays in shaping that morality. Below are a few books mentioned or alluded to. Enjoy!
How the Bible Actually Works: In Which I Explain How an Ancient, Ambiguous, and Diverse Book Leads to Wisdom Rather Than Answers - and Why That's Great News by Pete Enns
