Darren Blanchard is the owner of the Prince Edward Island Sea Salt Company, and cofounder of the islanders helping islanders foundation. This company gives 40% of all proceeds to Mental Health programming on PEI, and the goal is to fill the gaps in our system. Darren describes being diagnosed with PTSD fallowing a traumatic life event, and it later being retriggering after a friends suicide. This led to a change in perspective, he left a life of business in Toronto for a life of helping others. He is building a sustainable healing center on his property, and plans to spread smiles and awareness through his future content.
