This week we are joined by Ella Coffin, 2023 summer intern at Pinch Media and a Senior at Bryant University studying Digital Marketing and Communications. Since Covid, Ella has had experience taking college classes remotely AND working remotely in the marketing field. There is no doubt, students also suffer from WFH hardships like professionals themselves. However, growing up in a digital world, Ella has brought a unique perspective and effective tip to improve inspiration and creativity: Canva!
Canva has 1 million templates for any project or create you need to design. Whether it be an Instagram post, Facebook story, LinkedIn carousel, or presentation, it's all there! We know staring at a laptop all day without much movement can result in a lack of creativity (as well as being presented with a blank canvas). So test out Ella’s tip and gather graphics, color schemes, and text from the countless templates Canva has to offer.
Everyone needs somewhere to start, and it could be as simple as a theme you see while scrolling, or even a unique font! Whatever your creative needs, this hack will help you (student or professional)!
