Physical touch is a primary human need. We are social creatures, biologically put together to need each other. Technology has been driving a wedge between us for a long time now. The COVID pandemic has come to show us just how lacking technology really is to meet our needs. It's also creating a unique opportunity for us to re-write the meaning behind physical touch. So we can create a future where sometimes touching is only for touch sake.
