For episode 2, I am starting an on-going segment called "Chats with Dr. Bill". He is a friend of mine who is a physicist. Personally, when you have a friend who is a physicist, you ask them questions and ask for explanations. Think of it as saving tuition, you learn the concepts without having to enroll at MIT. I want to chat with Bill about bring a cross-section of physics and how it may (or may not) impact everyday life and things.
In this segment Bill and I discuss how the microwave oven works. We use it all the time, to pop our popcorn, heat up our pizza, boil water and a ton of other things. But what's happening on the inside to make those things heat up? Inquiring minds what to know...or maybe just me...
Enjoy this new segment and if you have any suggestions for other topics to discuss with Dr. Bill, please email me at recoveryrisingpodcast@gmail.com
