“You will attract the right people and repel more of the wrong ones if you bring more of yourself to your work and your branding.”
Today I’m speaking with Sarah Ennor, who is a corporate lawyer and motivational speaker, about how you can use your personal strengths to help drive your entrepreneurial success and live your passion. We also discuss how becoming self-aware and listening to ourselves can assist us with carving a path that’s right for us.
In this episode, Sarah shares her wisdom about
• comparing yourself to others and subjective use of words to put yourself in a box
• how helping others in small ways can also help yourself
• how accepting her ADHD diagnosis has allowed her to tap into her strengths
• how leaving the corporate world has put her on an adventure to self-discovery
• how self-love and confidence can help you move forward as an entrepreneur
About Sarah Ennor:
Sarah is a speaker on a mission to bring some simple inclusion strategies to life through relatable stories. Culture, morale, and results improve when we marry revenue to respect, coach with curiosity, and banish bias.
Sarah has always been a bold, unique personality with plenty of confidence and presence. As a firm lawyer, and in-house counsel and compliance for big-bank asset managers, she felt pressure to "fit in." Praised for her technical skill, managers viewed her personality as too confident, too ambitious - just too much!
An adult diagnosis of ADHD has opened her eyes. She is energetic, ambitious, and fearless for a reason! She can also see how she could have been more self-aware, helping her employer to support her unique traits. She's been an entrepreneur since 2017.
