Description

When applying to study in the UK, there is clearly much to think about so in this podcast Emma Thomas from the City University in London is going to talk us through some of the main things you need to consider. She starts by offering tips on course choice before moving on to discuss the admissions process. As part of her advice on course choice, she flags up something of great importance that often gets overlooked by students: placements or internships. Emma then turns her attention to an equally important topic to consider, and that is living and studying at a British university.

Emma works at the City University in London and so she is ideally placed to offer good advice for international students considering studying in one of the world’s great cities. And finally, she talks about the huge amount of support that British universities offer international students who are probably leaving home for the first time and dealing with the challenges of settling into their academic program as well as learning to live in a foreign country.
