MOVIE NEWS From The Hollywood Reporter: Although he played villain Deacon Frost in 1998’s Blade, the 47-year-old Stephen Dorff on Monday said that current superhero films are what is wrong with the business. “I still hunt out the good sh-t because I don’t want to be in Black Widow,” Dorff said, “It looks like garbage to me. It looks like a bad video game. I’m embarrassed for those people. I’m embarrassed for Scarlett! I’m sure she got paid five, seven million bucks, but I’m embarrassed for her. I don’t want to be in those movies. I really don’t. I’ll find that kid director that’s gonna be the next [Stanley] Kubrick and I’ll act for him instead.”
2. TV NEWS The Good, the Bart, and the Loki : In June 2021, The Good, the Bart, and the Loki was announced. It is the second promotional short from The Simpsons after The Force Awakens from Its Nap (2021). Loki teams up with Bart Simpson after being banished from Asgard, creating a crossover event that pays homage to the heroes and villains of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The promotional poster for the short was inspired by the poster for Avengers: Endgame (2019). The Good, the Bart, and the Loki was released today on Disney+ on, alongside the fifth episode of Loki.
3. Why Is That Trending: Who Is The Father of Amber Heard’s new baby? Amber Heard has revealed that she secretly welcomed her first child via surrogate earlier this year. On Thursday (1 July), the 35-year-old actor announced the news in an Instagram post. Heard is currently in a relationship with cinematographer Bianca Butti and the pair have been dating since January 2020. But according to a source who spoke with Page Six, the actress made the decision to have a child on her own long before meeting her girlfriend and she is Oonagh's sole legal parent.
