Sometimes buyers think they need to bring only their down payment and that is it. They forget or never know about the closing costs. Some lenders won’t have this conversation with the buyer. I know this is true because I have had to have the hard conversation with a buyer who was pre-approved by other lenders and knew nothing about the closing costs amount.
