Today on the show I welcomed my friend and teammate Tamiya Francis to discuss all things nutrition. Tamiya has a nutrition minor and is headed into her fifth year at Valdosta State.
Since rooming together last year, I have learned a lot about how different people fuel up for practice/workouts/games in alignment with their bodies. I've learned that what works for me doesn't always work for the athlete next to me.
In this podcast, Tamiya and I briefly discuss nutritional information that is important for athletes. We then discuss our experiences, advice, and perspectives as they relate to nutrition for athletes.
