Description

Accountability is something that we all need. However, taken to an extreme, the feedback we give ourselves can tear us apart. It can make us feel small.
The tough, no-slack mindset is good in many aspects. It yields discipline, hard work, relentless drive and motivation. It’s something that is actually praised for many athletes.. something that people are taught to embrace.
However, the problem with the mindset is that taken too far, it cultures resentment toward your goals and toward YOURSELF as a PERSON.
The only way to detach yourself from negative self talk is to develop a deep sense of self awareness & self love that is unaffected by anything that happens. In this episode, I discuss how I believe people develop this love and respect for themselves that can carry them through difficult seasons.
