Description

'When things fall apart' the most powerful tool we have, that keeps us anchored and can make us feel safe, is our own breath.

In today's episode we will dive into this topic by reading through the pages of a wonderful book 'When things fall apart' by Pema Chodron, one of the most renowned spiritual teachers in the west today. She is an American Buddhist nun, the resident teacher of Buddhism at Gampo Abbey in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, the first Tibetan monastery in North America.

When things fall apart, when life feels shaky, when all seems to be completely out of our control - we can come back to a stillness that is within.

In today's society we have been taught to run, to move fast, to fix ourselves and to be happy; maybe they did not tell us with these words but ultimately, we constantly feel there is something wrong with us. There is something wrong if we feel sad, we shouldn't. There is something wrong if we feel overwhelmed, disappointed, stressed.

What if those emotions are there to tell us something?

What if chaos was a beautiful gift? What if we could open to uncertainty, overwhelm, sadness and receive all of it?

We tend to push "negative" emotions away but with this episode, I want to invite you to welcome them in.

To breathe through each one of them, with intention.

My deepest intention is to spread awareness about the importance of being in connection with ourselves.

With love,

Sara
