This week we bring you the mother of all mysteries, and one Carrie has wanted to do for a couple of years - the perplexing (ish?) story of the Lost Colony of Roanoke!
In what was Sir Walter Raleigh's 2nd attempt at a settlement on Roanoke Island, it was no more successful than the first.
This story has so many possible outcomes - death by Natives, cannibalism, a zombie apocalypse and the belief that the Pacific Ocean was just on the other side of Virginia. I mean, yes? But no.
We also butcher so many words and names, and find out a not so big shocker that Carrie almost ruined her son's birthday surprise.
Batten down the hatches, it's gonna be a bumpy ride!
