Thanks for downloading this episode of The Young Comedians Podcast where I chat to Will Owen.
Will Owen is fast becoming one of the biggest young names in comedy. After starting comedy at Cambridge University, Will moved to London where he launched into stand-up. Despite being only 23 years old, Will has already impressed in some big competitions, notably reaching the Final of the 2Northdown New Act Competition and then winning the prestigious Leicester Square New Comedian of the Year competition (previous winners and finalists include Rob Beckett, Garrett Millerick and Ali Woods).
Chortle called him “a master of the casually cruel comment, biting yet delivered with an archetypal Gen Z indifference…[with] strong, unpredictable jokes.”
