Have you ever wondered what leadership, self-advocacy, strategic communication, time management, and organization have to do with neurodiversity and a company culture that embraces it? In today's episode, Dr. Catherine interviews Jenn Grindeland, founder and CEO of The Working Well.
After experiencing two traumatic brain injuries while working as part of a team, Jenn witnessed how confused her supervisors and peers were with how to handle her neurodivergent ways of working. With a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership, and experience as a yoga and mindfulness teacher, she saw how her unique experience and education could illuminate a new pathway for companies to create more awareness and inclusion in their teams. She now teaches teams leadership and communication skills that are thoughtfully designed to support equity for and inclusion of neurodivergent and invisibly disabled employees. Through this work, all team members, from neurotypical to neurodiverse, benefit from improved culture, productivity, and retention.
