Description

After His arrival in Jerusalem, Jesus cleanses the Temple. It is called a House of Prayer, but religion and pursuit of money, financial gain, and greed turned it into a den of thieves. The zeal for the House has eaten Jesus up and we find Him overturning tables and driving out those who sold sacrifices. Sacrifices paid for are cheap. God wants the sincerest of our sacrificial praise. A person's life does not consist of the things he posseses. Laodicean lukewarm Christians are after your money, true like-minded believers follow after Jesus, overturns the tables of man and opens access God's house that religion has excluded. There is a cleansing in His house to prepare for what is to come - the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus. What side of the table are you on?
