Part of the 2nd edition of the Institutes of the Christian Religion, John Calvin wrote A Little Book on the Christian Life back in 1539. This book is quite true to its name. Calvin writes about following Christ, exhorting us to live a the children of God we are by union with Christ - to deny ourselves, to bear our crosses, to think on our life to come, and to make use of this life's goods on our pilgrimage.
