Message: Redeem is to buy back a possession. Is something occupying your time and purpose? Time is limited and fashioned for us to make the most of it. Paul implores the people of Colossae to be steadfast and sure against deception with prayer, watchfulness, thanksgiving and wisdom. God lets us see our foolishness supernaturally, so we may see our need for Christ. The contentment and richness of God within us shows in our speech and conduct. We bring hope, peace and transform the lost world around us when we behave according to our calling in Christ.
Scripture: Colossians 4:2-6 "Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving; Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds: That I may make it manifest, as I ought to speak. Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time. Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man." KJV
