Message: In scripture there are images of Christ we can almost smell, as in incense or oil. Paul is addressing Corinthians with a reminder of their actions reflecting fragrances of life and death, challenging them to live in truth and life, which is the aroma of Christ. In the gospel of Jesus Christ our aroma is enhanced, darkness is turned to light, His scent is brought to the forefront and we can love others as He loved. Our fragrance can be enhanced in prayer, self-sacrifice and perspective, it is our choice. We seek Christ to be a recognizable aroma now and on His return to earth.
Scripture: "Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place. For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing.
