Description

Message: Zacharias is muted and deafened by the angel Gabriel for disbelief in the birth of a son, John, during  his old age. Mary is pregnant with Jesus and visits Zacharias' wife Elizabeth who is 6 months pregnant. In the womb, John leaps at the presence of Life in Mary. Zacharias can possibly see the joy of the women and the rejoicing. At John's birth, divine work is unveiled in the agreement on his name which was given to his parents independently by God. Zacharias' ears and tongue were released; he began prophesying of the possibilities of God when the outlook is impossible. He continued prophesying John's life as preparing the way of the Lord, who would bring Light to the darkness and peace. Zacharias' belief was restored in the mercy, justice and faithfulness of God, enabling him to serve without fear of condemnation, but in the holiness, righteousness and redemption of sin. In the darkness, in the impossible, God sends Light, the Light shines, the Light has a vessel in us which emits the Light. Elizabeth, Zacharias and Mary rejoice as evidence of the Light. To be delivered, the world must see the Light in us. The Light illuminates the path of dark places.

Scripture: Luke 1:79 "To give light to those who sit in darkness and the shadow of death,

To guide our feet into the way of peace." NKJV
