Description

Part 2 of 4  in the Christmas Series Titled "The Greatest of These!" based on 1 Corinthians 13:13 "And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love." NKJV

Message: Knowledge is getting better but limited man is only discovering what God already knows. The example of men's words and God's perfect knowledge is found in the book of Job. God holds all knowledge, therefore our faith is built on ignorance with hope attained by observation, experiences and faith in His Word. God uses our memory to help us avoid repeated mistakes, knowledge of right from wrong is learned. Turning away from the knowledge of the truth in willful ignorance leads to sin. Perfection is on-the-scene in the form of God's Word and a life in Jesus to prepare us for the day we meet Him face-to-face in the glory of His perfection, expressed in love, to give an account for our actions. What will you say when asked why you deserve a place in His Kingdom, a place of perfection and goodness?

Scripture: 1 Cor 13:8-13 "Love never fails; but if there are gifts of prophecy, they will be done away with; if there are tongues, they will cease; if there is knowledge, it will be done away with. For we know in part and prophesy in part; but when the perfect comes, the partial will be done away with. When I was a child, I used to speak like a child, think like a child, reason like a child; when I became a man, I did away with childish things. For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face; now I know in part, but then I will know fully, just as I also have been fully known. But now faith, hope, and love remain, these three; but the greatest of these is love." NASB
