As a kick-off to another equipment fundraiser for NighVision devices and head mount kits for his TDF unit, Andriy, their signals officer, tells his personal story as a ham radio enthusiast, radio tech professional and then volunteer in the armed forces since the full scale invasion. Together with our listeners Andriy goes through the key aspects of his role, the daily danger, technical challenges and what role signals communication play for them in theatre facing of the Russian electronic warfare capabilities, mortar and artillery.
During the conversation with our global audience we were joined for a brief segment on signals work and technology by MriyaReport co-founder Yehuda @YAmzallagh.
