1. Where and when do you want to go?
2. Go to individual cruise websites or Travelocity and compare prices or travel agent
3. Plan to book your cruise six-twelve months before you want to go
4. Get documents together - passport (recommended), birth certificate/driver's license
5. Book cruise
6. Consider options for beverage/food packages, internet packages, cruise insurance (recommended)
7. Consider shore excursion options (recommended)
8. Plan travel - flying? Driving? Consider staying at a hotel the night before embarkation
9. Check in via the cruise website or through your travel agent - similar as to when you check in for an airline flight
10. Print off documents and keep in order of your travel in a folder - take folder with you - print off luggage tags and put on luggage before you get to the cruise terminal
