And in the middle of trying to protect himself from his abusive stepfather, JM discovered the sport of boxing.

Over time he realized that it was more than just a form of protection. It was a way for him to develop discipline. From then on his love for the sport grew. As someone pursuing his passion, JM recently fought his first professional fight. Despite ending in a draw he kept his head up and immediately went back into training the day after. We salute you for displaying resilience amidst adversity. 🥃
