We gathered this Wednesday to celebrate “Reflections,” the second drop from the Concurrence Collective. Their first drop earlier this year, “Frozen Planet” was the first-ever collective drop on Sloika. For this round, they’ve added 6 new photographers through an open call and blind curation process bringing them up to 30 members. We hear the stories behind the images including Chad Torkelson’s personal scouting strategy to find undiscovered locations, “use Google to find bad pictures of good places!” We also hear from several other Sloika-verified photographers and hear about growing up in Nigeria and the carnival in Venice.
