Daily Activity: Throwback Thursday

On this day in 1943  the first helicopter received its patent.  Though helicopters had been built before this time, it was during the second world war that interest in development of the helicopter really took flight ( I love a good pun).https://www.britannica.com/technology/helicopter

Barbie was trademarked on this date in 1958.   Barbie made her official debut at the New York Toy fair in 1959.  Barbie has represented over 200 careers since her debut and is still a much loved toy for children.
