On Episode 30, Sam and Jack are joined by senior gymnast Erin Castle to discuss her journey to becoming an Iowa Hawkeye gymnast. We talk about her introduction to sports as a Cyclone fan (like Jack), storming the field for the Oklahoma St./Iowa St. game in 2011 and sitting on the hills at Jack Trice Stadium. We talk about how Erin established a dedicated and routine work ethic that has helped reach each opportunity she has had, as well as how this work ethic affected her early social life in high school. We touch on her personal accomplishments and shortcomings as an athlete and what her expectation and hope for this team & this season are.
