Season 5, Turning Over Tables, focuses on questions about "THE CHURCH" as we dive deep about why the church is the way it is.
Episode 1 starts strong with challenging us to think about why the church so rarely engages in the kind of bold, risky behaviors Jesus did when he flipped over the tables in the temple, pushing out the commerce in that holy space.
We hope to liberate ourselves from structures and systems that no longer serve us as we talk about the hard questions. When we talk about hard things and make transparent what is not working, we might just dare to change it. The things that we hide or keep secret are the things that get neglected and will not transform. Transformation only happens with care and attention. And, we are in the transforming business.
