This week we look at the case of The Golden State Killer.
A link was not made for quite some time but it turned out that the Visalia Ransacker, East Area Rapist, Original Night Stalker (Not to be confused with Night Stalker Richard Ramirez), and Golden State Killer were all the same person, Joseph James DeAngelo.
Joseph James DeAngelo Jr. is an American serial killer, serial rapist, burglar, and former police officer who committed at least 13 murders, 51 rapes, and 120 burglaries across California between 1974 and 1986.
It was over 40 years after his first crime that he was finally caught thanks to DNA evidence and genealogy.
