In this week's episode of Twisted Talks, we begin the case of the Bhopal Disaster or Bhopal Gas Tragedy.

This was a huge case, and this week's episode is part 1 of 4.


The Bhopal disaster was a chemical leak in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India at a plant owned by 'Union Carbide India Limited', a subsidiary of the American company 'Union Carbide Corporation'
In the early hours of December 3rd 1984, over 40 tons of methyl isocyanate, a toxic and dangerous gas, leaked from its storage tank and made its way over nearby areas, areas that were densely populated, resulting in the immediate deaths of thousands of people, and even more injured, some people experienced short term effects (acute symptoms) while others have suffered long term effects as a result.

To this day the site of the Bhopal plant has yet to be cleaned properly.
