Description

In this weeks episode of Twisted Talks we look at the case of Armin Meiwes.

Armin was born on the 1st of December 1961 in Essen, Germany.

At a young age his father walked out on Armin and his mother.

Armin began to have strange thoughts about cannibalism at a young age, however he never acted on any of his cannibalistic thoughts until after the passing of his mother in 1991.

That's when everything got much more sinister.
Armin would take the life of Bernd Jürgen Armando Brandes in March of 2001.

This true crime case was complicated from the very start as Germany lacked laws regarding cannibalism, and Armin's victim had consented to what took place that day and night, but can a person really consent to someone else mutilating and killing them?

I'll say no more and if you want to hear the full story, make sure to listen.
