However, it isn't always easy figuring that out. It took a major breakdown before Beate was able to reach this breakthrough. As a single mother in debt, she wrote a letter to the President asking for help. This is where she would learn about the small business administration and how to restructure her debt. Eventually she went on to sell her business to Bill Gates for millions of dollars.
Somewhere along her journey she started to realize that there is little information for working woman. She decided she would help cut through the B.S. and show female entrepreneurs how to do it all as a boss mama.
