Description

In conjunction with BT's Neighborhood En(Counter) Culture, this is a mini-podcast series exploring the multicultural stories and experiences of RWU students.

Outgoing Multiethnic Affairs Director Robbie Hinds interviewed Chaymae (Chay) Al Hojaji about her work as a pre-med student who often feels caught in a shuttle between Morocco where much of her family still lives and America where much of her future exists. Robbie and Chay were also able to discuss how Chay's faith as a Muslim woman also charges how she identifies herself and how important it is to find close community, sometimes with those you identify with in obvious ways but also those who are different and can speak powerful new perspective into our lives.

Host: Robbie Hinds
