Gabe the Babe is back for his thoughts on BYU’s loss at home to 3-6 Kansas. It was a game the Cougs should have won, could have won, and needed to win. Unfortunately, the undefeated dream came to an end at 9-1 when Kansas came into LaVell Edwards Stadium. After experiencing an emotional victory last week at Utah, the intensity was not there for the Cougars. Now they have a must-win game coming up at ASU with the nation watching!
The CFP Committee put BYU at #14, falling 8 spots after losing Saturday. There are many ways the rest of the season can go for the Big 12, SEC, and BYU. Having the 12-team playoff gives schools like Army, Boise St, BYU, Colorado, and Georgia, hope they wouldn’t have had in the regular 4-team version. This gives hope, life, and excitement to the programs late in the holiday season like we’ve never seen before.
