On this weeks episode I was delighted to invite my old friend and team mate Nicky Clements on to the podcast.
Like most guests on the podcast Nicky has been involved in sports from a young age venturing to play for Ilchester Youth Team where he played as an under 10 to under 16 player. Nicky then developed a love for Athletics at school and went on to compete at national levels getting through to finals where he competed on Sky Sports in 2008! Within his athletics career Nicky has competed in 100m, 200m, long jump and triple jump, was a regular in the British league men's athletics team for many years and has even competed in Belgium for a touring south west team.
Nicky came on to the podcast and openly spoke about the pre race anxiety he used to suffer with and we dive into how he used to combat going into races and events. Nicky now finds himself back in Grassroots Football where he is playing for Ilchester mens team.
This episode has moments of real light heartedness and some real deep meaningful conversation which just about sums Nicky up!
I hope you enjoy the episode, make sure you LIKE, SHARE, and enjoy!
