Description

As the World Wide Web started to become a more accessible tool in the early 2000s, Noel Biderman had an idea. He believed that many people were lying on the run-of-the-mill dating sites that had begun to pop up - that many people on these sites were posing as single when they were, in fact, married. He dreamed up a more straight forward approach that would allow customers to explore their fantasies in a more honest way. But when faced with a cyber attack from opponents of his risqué philosophies, he would have to come to grips with his company's failure to secure its users' private information in what would become one of the first major data leaks of the modern internet era. Listen now to hear Karla's and Michael's take on this scandalous affair known all around the world as AshleyMadison.com.
