Ana M. Builes FNP-C (she/her) is a family nurse practitioner in Lodi, NJ. A Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) is a licensed medical professional responsible for general patient care. FNP duties are similar to that of registered nurses and family doctors. FNPs can diagnose, prescribe medication, and take charge of their patients’ care. FNPs can be highly effective acting as a primary care providers, often capable of spending more time with patients. Much like family doctors, FNPs work with patients of all ages throughout their lives, taking on adult, pediatric, and geriatric care.
