Today’s video is an interview with Nicole Psomas.
Nicole Psomas PT MS CLT/CDT, is a certified lymphedema therapist / physical therapist based in the New Jersey & New York City area. At a young age, Nicole found interest in art and her family was very involved in charity work as well as helping kids with special needs, which gravitated her towards physical therapy. She started out in New York Presbyterian / Weill Cornell Medical Center straight out of college, which gained her a ton of experience. In 2009, she took upon herself to take on a cosmetic procedure (laser lipo with smart lipo) to take her to the next level.
Going through the recovery process she has an eye-opening moment and began to document the process and trauma so she could help others later. Samos made a book called “After the Cut: How to Prepare For and Recover From Cosmetic Plastic Surgery” to talk about the healing after going through a cut procedure. Having no plans in writing a book, she was only simply asked to write up a brochure to help other get prepared for surgery/procedures and found that she had so much information to share that she needed to write a book. You can find her book on Amazon, available on hardback and kindle.
